Liquidation :
The legal process of dealing with
the assets and liabilities of a company that
has been wound up by the Court. The Official
Receiver is usually the Liquidator and his duties
include an investigation into the company's
affairs. The Liquidator will also prepare and
submit a report on the directors conduct to
the Department of Business Enterprise and Regulatory
Reform (BERR).
